Wandering Around Linz

This last weekend was our free weekend where we got Friday off and didn't have class again until 4pm today (Monday).  Details of my awesome trip to Munich will be coming in another post, but since I didn't leave for Munich until Friday, first its time for an update about wandering around Linz.

So back in Budapest, my purse broke and I needed a new one.  Thursday after class I decided to go wander around Linz since I really hadn't seen much.  I still have a ton of things I want to see in the city, like the Ars Electronica Museum, but the main thing I saw was the Cathedral.  This thing was freaking huge and absolutely beautiful. 

After wandering for most of the afternoon I went back to get ready for dinner and go out to celebrate Yashica's birthday!  I couldn't stay for the whole celebration since I had to be back online for a conference call, but we went out for dinner and then to a bar where we found a Gwinnett County GA license plate on the wall, which was pretty awesome.  After a drink with everyone I headed back to the Raabheim to make a conference call and then headed off to bed to so I could get up and head to Munich to meet Sarah and Kaley for my birthday!  I promise a Munich post...possibly two...is/are coming in the next day or so!  And now for pictures!
